New Year Lake Side Camping: This event is organised by the Traveller’s tribe. It starts on 30th December at 9.30 AM and ends on 31st December at 1 PM. This is a trip to Malshej Ghat and one need to pay Rs 1650 to be a part of this. The meeting point to start the journey is at Dombivli East and people have to meet sharp at 9 in the morning. The organisers will provide with sleeping bags, tenting, mat, dinner on the 1st night and breakfast the day after. There will also be a provision for camp fire. There will also be some fun activities like badminton, archery, cricket and volleyball. This is a perfect one day trip which one can easily go for if they are too bored with their regular work and desperately want to take a break.

Trek to Alang Madan Kulang: This event is scheduled to take place from 8th December to 10th December and it is arranged by the Traveller’s tribe. This is a place which is near Thane and the region is Igatpuri. The heights of these three places are 4852 feet, 4841 feet and 4822 feet respectively. The trekking level is very difficult and so it is highly advised that those who are not used to proper trekking experiences should not take up this route. One needs a high endurance level to take up this trekking route. The base village is at Kulanwadi from where the trek begins. One needs to pay Rs 2000 as a registration amount for this.

The Alang Fort is located in the Nashik district of Maharashtra and it is one of the three forts. This is placed at the Kalsubai Range of the Western Ghats.  When climbing, one gets to face dense forests and the path is also not well maintained due to heavy rains. Kulang Fort is also located in the same region and it is said that this fort is the hardest to climb. This fort is surrounded by 5 water cisterns and it also has caves. One takes at least 3 to 4 hours to climb the Madan Fort. But one needs to be trained at rock climbing to reach this fort as it is not at all easy. There is a use of fixed rope to climb this fort.

One day Trek to Karnala Fort: This is scheduled to happen on 17th December and one needs to register with an amount of Rs 750 to go for this. This is a hill fort which has a height of 1440 feet and the difficulty level of this trek is easy which means anyone with proper physical health can take this trek. The journey includes breakfast, transport, trek expertise and ticket to the fort. One needs to carry water sippers, sun screen lotions and comfortable clothes along with them.
